In this six-week series, you can ask questions, get real-time feedback, and learn from one of our most experienced teachers. Join Lisa McBride, RYT, as she breaks down a full yoga class, shows you relaxation techniques, and teaches the nuts and bolts of each pose.

Become confident as you learn proper alignment and how to modify poses so they are safe and effective for your individual body type. Understand the importance of mindfulness and learn relaxation techniques that will enhance your practice as well as your everyday life. Class Descriptions

Tailored Foundations

Our signature class!  This unique and practical class is tailored to the student. Each class includes a fluid sequence of poses determined by the individual needs of the students in the class that day. Emphasis is on postural stability and flexibility to build strength, support, and enhance what you do in your everyday life.

Chiropractor and Physical Therapist approved, this class is perfect for students with pain or physical issues, or students who are “yoga-shy” and worried about injury. It’s also ideal for the seasoned yogi who wants to hone the basic building blocks of their practice.

This class feels slow and gentle, but builds serious core strength and pelvic stability. You’ll walk out feeling stronger, taller, and looser.

Functional Flow

Flow intelligently. In this class you’ll create stability through strength, alignment, and of course your own intuitive movements.  Protect and strengthen the shoulder girdle, the knees, and the lower back while flowing through poses with breath and mindfulness.

This class will build a foundation of intelligent movement that will carry into your daily life. Suitable for beginners and also experienced yogis who want to have a stronger and safer foundation for their practice.

Synergy Yoga:

In this class, you’ll be led through a set of poses to strengthen, stretch, and align your body from head to toe. Your instructor will pay particular attention to your body’s alignment, offering gentle cues to adjust your posture. At moderate intensity, this class is suitable for beginners as well as experienced yogis. You’ll leave feeling balanced, lighter, and more limber.

Gentle Yoga:

Just like its name implies, this class has slower pacing and more easeful postures. Gentle yoga is all about listening to your body and not pushing yourself beyond your limits.
This class is great for the beginner yogi, but it’s not just for beginners! The easeful pace can be perfect for experienced yogis who need to slow down, or yogis who have physical limitations or injuries.

Restorative Yoga:

Practiced at a very slow pace, restorative yoga is about letting go of physical, mental, and emotional tension as you relax into stillness. You’ll pause in each pose for 3-5 minutes, completely supported by blankets and bolsters. As you practice deep breathing in these long holds, your muscles and fascia will slowly release while your mind comes to rest in a meditative state. This class is for all levels and is beneficial for people with chronic pain or people who need to tune out the busy-ness of life. After this class you’ll feel rested, looser, and at peace.

What about COVID-19?

We are taking precautions very seriously.  Students and teachers are required to be masked in the common areas of the studio (halls and lobby), but may remove their masks when on the mat.  Class sizes are limited for the time being to allow for social distancing.
