In this class designed for beginners, you can ask questions, get real-time feedback, and learn from an experienced teacher. Join Mary Kate McGetrick as she guides you through building a basic foundation of mindfulness meditation.

  • Experiment with cushions and blankets to find your most comfortable seated position.

Mary Kate McGetrick, MEd, RYT 500, has been a student of yoga since the late 90’s, and she completed her 200hr training in 2016.  In 2019, Mary Kate completed the Agni Moksha 300hr training at Main Line Yoga, and she is also certified to teach Restorative Yoga.

Mary Kate practices yoga as a way to deepen her relationship with her body, mind, and spirit. Her mission as a teacher is to help serve and inspire others to awaken in their own process of self-discovery. Mary Kate’s practice and teaching incorporates the eight branches of yoga, including mindful movement, breath work, and meditation, all which help students to nourish and connect with their sacred home within.
