SOMATIC THERAPY, TAILORED MASSAGE THERAPY

Jen founded Vital Touch Massage in 2003. Her purpose was to create a space that combined the soothing atmosphere of a cozy retreat with the clinical approach and hands-on know-how needed to address pain, tension and emotional stress.

Jen’s original intention has expanded into Vital Touch Wellness, a flourishing center whose mission is to foster physical, emotional, and spiritual transformation, while building a like-minded community of support and healing.

Jen offers SomaSoul® Somatic Therapy, a body-centered approach to personal growth and healing that addresses emotions, stress and their effects on her clients’ physical health and overall fulfillment. As a somatic therapist, Jen helps her clients build a kinder, more compassionate relationship with themselves and with their bodies. Integrating Body-Centered Gestalt Psychotherapy, mindfulness, and the expressive arts, Jen guides her clients to connect to a deeper place within themselves so that they can transform physical and emotional tension patterns.

A 1997 graduate of the New Mexico School of Natural Therapeutics, Jen is a licensed massage therapist in practice for 25 years. She completed 500 hours of training in SomaSoul Somatic Expressive Movement Therapy at Kripalu and graduated from the Leven Institute for Expressive Movement in 2012. She is currently in postgraduate training for Body Centered Psychotherapy at the Hartford Family Institute in CT. She offers Somatic Therapy through Zoom or in person at Vital Touch Wellness.
