As the heat of the season builds, so does the energy of Pitta dosha—sharp, intense, and transformative. This series offers cooling, grounding, and restorative practices to bring you back to balance.

What to Expect:
Each week blends Ayurvedic wisdom with mindful yoga practices that soothe summer imbalances. Through breathwork, intentional movement, and seasonal rituals, you’ll leave each session feeling refreshed, calm, and more connected to your inner nature.


Weekly Themes:
Week 1: Welcome to Your Balanced Summer! Understanding Pitta Energy + Cooling the Body

Week 2: Moon Salutations + Cooling Breathwork for Calm and Clarity

Week 3: Grounding Flows to Soothe Summer Intensity + Self-Massage (Abhyanga) for Stability
Week 4: Integration & Inner Fire: Gentle Flow + Guided Meditation + Seasonal Sankalpa (Purpose)


What’s Included:

  • Four 75-minute Ayurvedic yoga classes, including gentle movement, breathing and meditation
  • Seasonal recipes, self-care tips, and journaling prompts
  • Herbal refreshments after class
  • Small group connection and optional check-in support

Lisa Scarborough is a certified Ayurvedic medical practitioner and a founding member of the Pennsylvania Ayurvedic Medical Association. She has 40 years of experience in the health and beauty industry, as well as 5 years of clinical experience. She’s worked with hundreds of people, transforming lives through holistic healing practices.

What is Ayurveda?
Ayurveda, is a holistic system of natural medicine that originated in India more than 5,000 years ago. The term “Ayurveda” is derived from the Sanskrit words “Ayur” (life) and “Veda” (science or knowledge). It’s main focus is to bring about whole-body health and well-being through balance.
