The health and well-being of our clients and staff is tremendously important to us. In our community efforts to flatten the curve of this unprecedented virus, we are closing our studio until further notice. We encourage you all to join us in practicing safe social distancing. The sooner we all get on board with this as a community, the faster we can get through this.
Not being able to provide services in person isn’t stopping us from continuing our mission to inspire and empower you to take the very best care of yourself. We have just launched our first (free!) Guided Relaxation Video Series hosted by the talented members of our massage and somatic therapy staff and designed to relieve the heightened stress and tension that you may be feeling. Also, very soon we’ll be offering brand new online services like remote consultations and counseling.
Taking time each day to consciously relax and rest is more important than ever. When your stress response is over activated, you feel anxious, your muscles get tense, and your connections with the people around you can become strained. An over stressed nervous system can lead to depletion and suppressed immunity. Actively toning your body’s relaxation response with deep breathing, stretching, meditating, etc., can calm anxiety and restore immunity.
We know and appreciate how much our clients look to us to provide support and healing in a stressful world. We will continue to be there for you in any way that we can during this challenging time.
As a small business in the service industry, we hope that our community understands our current needs as well.
We are doing everything we can to provide some financial stability to our staff during this unstable time. While our Guided Relaxation Videos will remain free, your purchase of our future remote offerings will support our therapists who are independent contractors who may not be eligible for unemployment benefits. You can also support your favorite therapist directly by clicking here to access our “virtual tip jar.”
After selecting the therapist you’d like to donate to, enter the amount you’d like to donate in the “quantity” box.
We know this time has been challenging for everybody in different ways. We are holding the truth that the intent of this forced isolation is to protect our community as a whole, and as a community, supporting each other, we can get through it.
We very much look forward to the day when we open our doors again! In the meantime we encourage you to do what you can to keep yourselves and your loved ones safe, healthy, and relaxed.
